Here's my latest painting. It's meant to resemble a film still of no movie in particular but rather, it encapsulates the feel of many car chase sequences of early 80s action movies. Pictured here is a 1966 Pontiac GTO involved in a car chase which has now led itself to the bustling tarmac of O'Hare International Airport in Chicago. I remember seeing an 80s action movie with a chase scene situated at an airport, and if you ask me, the enture scene was executed quite nicely. That is primarily what inspired this piece. I also wanted to include an over exaggerated car explosion, which was a cliche that was also quite common to the point of nearly being a joke in films of the time. Well I hope you enjoyed this piece.
