Rare Breeds (1969 Chevy Camaro Painting)

Here's my latest, and likely the most photorealistic painting I have created to date, surprisingly completed in under a day. Featured are two 1969 Chevy Camaros, a once mainstream sports car from the 60s that today would stir a pretty good bid war at any auto auction. The red one on the Right is an SS model, which was one of the most respectable vehicles in GM's offerings at the time from factory, but to the left is the Yenko Edition Camaro, which was an aftermarket trim that was not only faster, but also much rarer with production numbers just surpassing 200 units. These rare breeds of classic cars are paired quite well together in this scene of a somewhat dicey neighborhood. Its almost symbolic the US economic situation (represented by decadent background), The citizen's pride in the nation's past, and the maintenance by both government and citizen of what has been previously successful in the nations history (represented by these pristine classic Camaros) are what is needed to continue to be successful in the future. Instead of discounting the past, and adapting these "new ideas" such as gun control, surveillance drones, and political correctness which have all manifested, and completely eroded the US and what democracy stands for. We must embrace what has previously been successful, refine it, and use that knowledge as we look ahead to the future. Today, that kind of thinking seems rare (much like these cars), and as time goes on, this ideology will become more and more rare (Which is also like these cars), so we need to hold on to the few values that are still left.
