Meanwhile In Canada... (1992 GMC Sierra) by FastLaneIllustration Meanwhile In Canada... (1992 GMC Sierra) by FastLaneIllustration
Here's My Latest Painting. It's a 1992 GMC Sierra 1500 parked outside of Canadian Tire. Just judging by the truck, you can assume a good amount of information about the owner. He's likely the biggest stereotype that Canada has to offer. He's got the dead deer in the bucket, a few packs of Molson beers, and a flag for the Calgary Flames to help emphysize how much of a hockey nut he is. The Sierra is also one of the most common trucks driving around in Canada too in a wide variety of conditions. Some look brand new, and some appear as if they were salvaged from the titanic, but most of them still run strong. Right now he's probably inside the store with a fist full of Canadian Tire Money restocking his supply of ductape, getting some more buckshot, and some bondo as an attempt to remedy those massive rust holes that got there over time. She Ain't the prettiest truck, but I can almost guarantee that it's still running alright under the hood in spite of it's outward appearance. All Fast Lane Design Artwork By Ryan Sardachuk

This reminds of my Grandma's friend's 1984 GMC S-15 4x4. It spent its entire life in New Hampshire, and by the time it was taken off the road in the early 21st century, it was so rusty that it could barely pass inspection and one of the rear fenders was being held together with a piece of wood. However, it had gotten a new engine in the late 1990s (it had a 2.8L V6), and had the original manual transmission, and it was still running like a top. Both Chevy's and GMCs are tough trucks!

I'm from Ontario, I just figured that truck would be driven by Mike from Canmore.

It,s from an old Royal Canadian Air Farce skit.
If you've never heard of him just search Mike from Canmore on You Tube

Now that's the truth. There's 2 Canadian tires, and 2 Wal-marts here in Red Deer Alberta, and the north ones don't deal firearms (keep in mind the north wal-mart deals ammo though) but, they sell airsoft, bb, and pellet guns. Now the south end Walmart, and Canadian tire. They sell real guns, and whatnot.
