Here's My Latest Painting: It's a 1975 Oldsmobile Cutlass involved in a high speed pursuit with the California Highway Patrol. The scene is set in the early 80s, and is heavily inspired by those late 70s/early 80s action films with the over the top car chases, and all the cliches that they contain. Cliches such as hitting boxes, smashing fruit stands, nearly hitting bystanders, sliding, and in this case, nearly getting hit by an oncoming train where the getaway makes it through, but the pursuer either stops, and looses them, or gets absolutely creamed by the train as it goes by. This is one of a few car chase cliche paintings I've done and overall, this is probably my new personal favorite. Anyway, All Fast Lane Design Artwork By Ryan Sardachuk. Car chases with big cars are the best Especially in "those late 70s/early 80s action films". This is very good painting that captures that essence perfectly.
