Here's My Latest Painting. It's a 1971 Dodge Super Bee sitting in front of a very eerie horror movie-esque abandoned motel. I thought It would be interesting to make a desert themed painting with a bit of that spooky unsafe feeling that abandoned desert buildings often evoke. The scene Itself is heavily inspired off of the abandoned buildings in the former resort town of Bombay Beach, California, which was a small resort town on a massive lake in the California desert called the Salton Sea, because of it's salinity. Look it up on google, and you'll see an uncanny resemblance between the setting of this, and the actual locale that inspired this. Anyway, all Fast Lane Design artwork by Ryan Sardachuk.
