Here's my latest painting. It's a 1978 AMC Pacer that has seen better days, now serving as a beat up delivery car for Domino's Pizza. In the modern era where people take more pride in their phones than their cars, there are only a few Pacers that are still roadworthy with the rest either in the dump, or already turned into garden shears. This car is an anomaly because of the fact that it still runs, especially when it's questionable build quality and premature breakdown problems are factored in. nobody said it ran well, but it's still got a breath in it's body. The Pacer itself was not a bad idea as a car, because it was actually quite practical, and spacious for a compact car. It's visibility is second to none, because of it's large window arrangement... However it's abnormally large windows made it downright hard for "stealth nose picking" in traffic and the car gained itself many nicknames like "the fishbowl on wheels." The background is a strip mall scene, which is not horribly unfamiliar to my gallery, but if you look closer, there are very satirical takes on some of the everyday products that we buy from these strip malls. On top of that, there are also a few discreet references to other cars hidden among the surroundings: the words you are looking for are; Charger, Chevrolet, and GTX. have fun finding them. i have a model i built of one of these, neat!, the passenger door's on these were about 3 inches longer than the driver's door, amc's reason,,, this was done for easier access for passenger's to enter and exit on the curbside
Great Water Color. I love the beige hatch. I wonder how many still exist?
there was a shitty old 80s cadillac pizza delivery car near my dads shop that the owner finally retired.
