1976 Cadillac El Dorado On A Vermont Ranchby *FastLaneIllustration

Here's My Latest Painting. It's a 1976 Cadillac El Dorado parked in front of a victorian style ranch house in Vermont during autumn. I feel that this is one of my better pieces, because of the reflections on the car, the bright fall colors, and the effect that the falling leaves create. Nice job.
This reminds me of a car my father used to own. It was a copper colored 1977 Oldsmobile Toronado. It rode SOOOO much better that the slightly older Chevy Suburban we also had at the time.

Aw man! This SOOO rocks! This weird ole car holds a big part of my personal history. 500 cubic inch plant, (472 actually) front wheel drive (about half of it getting to the ground) corners like a river barge. The trunk had this wacky electric closing system that pulled the trunk lid down slow and smooth. Sadly the mechanism was made of Bakelite, so every time it was slammed it meant a $600 repair bill. OH yeah and the 8 track player in this car came with a mechanical reverb. The radio in that beast weighed like 50 lbs and there were no amps involved! Hey thanks for applying your talent to some great nerdy old cars, that might otherwise get forgotten.

thanks. My grandpa owned one of these too. He said he got his fingers stuck in the trunk lid once when it was closing automatically haha. anyway, more paintings to come soon.

Ahh, my first car was an 87 Coupe Deville. The old owner had mistaken it (The car had been in storage for a few years before she gave it to me) as a 78, which would have been much more up my alley as opposed to the mini front wheel drive beater I ended up with. It was a Cadillac nonetheless, and I had one of the classiest old cars in town thanks to it.
