1969 Dodge Charger Daytona In The Rain (painting)

Here's My Latest Painting. It's a 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona speeding down a small roadway on the western outskirts of Denver Colorado. This was an extremely fun piece to make, because it allowed me to experiment with new ideas. Ideas such as the illumination of the scene by the headlights of the car. This piece also helped me flex my rain and lightning "muscles", which is a thematic element that I don't often include in my work. Overall, I'm very happy with the outcome of this painting, and feel better now that I finally have a long overdue Dodge Daytona in my painting collection.
