Here's my latest painting portraying a 1964 Chevrolet Impala parked in its most "natural habitat" in the mean streets of East LA. Its long, sleek profile was a trendsetter for lowriding and was one of the pioneer vehicles for the lowrider car culture as a whole. Even if it wasn't customized to be a lowrider like the one pictured above, it is still a car that feels right at home there, and turns just as many heads when you cruise with it. The gold color I chose for this car went exceptionally nicely with the sunset soaked surroundings, and it really brings the car to life as if it's gonna drive right out of the page.
